If i am smoking in my garage with one door open or just out of a window, i always wonder if my neighbors are saying, here he goes again. Do you think the average person who is neighborly would call 911 over smellin pot somke?

My neighbors to the left smoke themselves. My neighbors to the right, know I smoke and are totally fine with it (we'd consider them "friends" though as opposed to just neighbors/acquaintances). I know both directions have probably smelt it before.

I can't imagine the fucktards that are going to call 911 for smelling pot.

Have you ever been somewhere, just at random and thought "omg! i smell pot! " I have. I think it's cool.

Ive been going to college in Utah for the last 2 years, and i know for a fact that at least 3 different neighbors in my apartment complex have called the cops on me this year (process of elimination when one or more are out of town). They never knocked on my door or anything but i could always see them snooping around the parking lot and shit for about 30 min after talking to the neighbors.

if you arent in Utah or an Amish community i wouldnt worry about it tho

Fourty is right it really matters where you live on what laws the police enforce. Cops here wouldn't respond over weed smoke. In a small town I would be a lot more paranoid and careful.

our houses are pretty far apart in my hood, but i know they smell my shit. no doubt. pot smoke is strong and hangs out for a minute. luckily it's super windy here, too, so it gets carried away quickly. hard to tell what direction it's coming from when it's windy. but they know it's me anyway.

well, i don't want the smoke to end up wafting in the house. plus, there is a greater chance id smell of pot if i didn't have some ventilation. there's always a downside to hiding a reefer habit

I live in the middle of nowhere, so I can pretty much smoke it up anytime, anywhere. I love it . There are pretty much no houses near me, which is good, because the people who live closest to me (which isn't that close), are the types of assholes that would call the cops if they could smell it.

i read in the paper the other day where someone called the police cause they saw teenagers smoking on the balcony of an apt. cops came, knocked on the door, smelled pot, and handed out a few charges from the search.

I usually smoke on my front porch when my mom isnt home / in the shower / doing something not upstairs. My neighbors are chinese and dont speak a word of english. I dont even think they know what weed is but I was toking my pipe when they walked out the front door and they jus waved while i kept hitting it lol.

My mom has smelled it inside my hosue only 1 time after i smoked cause it was some beasters

As strange as it may sound, for some people pot = heroin or meth. They don't see us as people who smoke a joint the way they might enjoy a beer, but rather dangerous drug addicts who would are capable of murder just to get high.

Other people who know better (and might even smoke themselves) will use your pot smoking as an excuse to call the cops or blackmail you.

That's why I vape.
