I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he simply misspoke if he were off by ten...

... but that means he sucks at math or doesn't realize that there are 50 states.

This will probably be one of the deciding issues in November.

Legal lies

In an era where nearly everything that these candidates say is recorded and replayed publicly, I think all the candidates have actually done pretty well so far at avoiding looking completely foolish. If this counts among the worst of Obama's misstatements, then I think Barack is in pretty good shape. I can't even imagine all the stupid things the media would capitalize on if I had to give speeches nearly every day on very little sleep.

It is too bad how the media advertises bullshit like this. People get way too caught up on petty things such as a numerical error in a speech, rather than focusing on what is actually relevant to the wellbeing of our country. Some of the stuff I seen on that LA TIMES BLOG that you posted, Hedons, was pathetic. I don't know what is wrong with some of those people.

And, did people forget about the fantasy world that Hillary Clinton was living in when she mentioned how she had to flee from sniper fire? LOL. I think that is far worse, as it was a blatant lie. You clearly have to be delusional to actually believe that you were in the midst of gunfire, when you actually weren't.

But maybe it was just a bad dream she had? Maybe she was just tired?

Or maybe it was just a load of bullshit?

Regardless, it is far worse than screwing up the number of states in the US, as he CLEARLY knows how many there are.
