The Official: *weapon of choice thread*
Everyone wants to be safe, and feels like they ened to be protected in case of an emergency. I myself have a metal baseball bat and a nice butterfly knife which i know how to use by my bed and just recentlyi found an old wooden billy club that i painted black letters on the side saying "Goodnight =)"
So what about ya'll? got any guns, swords, knifes, mace, tazers, anything of that nature that you use for protection or collect? If not what would you use for protection, i would like a nice pistol or katana.. once i save up some money ill definatly get one

A Kershaw automatic-opening knife between the mattress & box-spring & a .380 within reach.
Plus we have a killer watchdog too. Nobody's getting into the house quietly.

It should be mandatory that all U.S. citizens carry one of these puppies.PDW 6x35mm Personal Defense Weapon
I'm saving now for a M4 Carbine, i can get a Rock River Arms for around $900 with a halo red dot sight a few more weeks and it's mine, man i cant wait ![]() I got a few guns laying around like a ruger .22 pistol a .22 mag 12 gauge all kinds of shit. You dont have many break-ins around here because everyone has guns and the bad guys know it.

i don't really carry around anything for protection, because i try my best not to start fights (most people here carry knives so that our city's stabbing rates are ridiculously high).
i would say that it is probably just as likely that any weapon you choose (with the exception of guns if you are a quick and have decent aim) to be used against you as it is to protect you. that said, my weapon is choice is my fists, because i will always have them with me, and it would be hard for someone to use them against me. i may not be strong but i can throw decent punches (hurray for minor hockey in canada).

I keep my airsoft gun that I never use and consider that somewhat of a weapon. It looks exactly like a real gun too. But I guess if someone had a real gun and called my bluff, I'd be fucked.
If I could choose ANY gun then definately an AK-47. Or a mini-pistol that pops outta my belt buckle. Or a shoe-knife. Shit, anything from Wild Wild West! |
