Starbucks just launched this promotional discount nationwide on Tuesday... basically cutting the price for an iced drink by half.

$2 as compared to $4 isn't too bad. I'll do it at least once.

Anyone try this yet?

I have a Starbucks gift card and there's a Starbucks where I work, but I don't drink coffee.

Maybe I'll find someone to spend it on.

i used to work at a starbucks. believe me when i say they have more than just coffee. but yeah that iced lemonade passion fruit tea shit is good on a hot day.

personally, like i said, i don't like coffee and would def. buy local coffeehouse before Fivebucks.

It's half a block or so from my work and I get anything I want for free from there, so I've no qualms about supporting them.

I certainly would rather visit a independent coffee shop whenever possible however.
