Aftercare- plenty of water and antioxidants and a reasonably healthy lifestyle for a week or so should help it heal.
Having said that the first thing I usually do when I get out of the dentist`s is light a fag..

I've got my top two and I don't even have bottom ones. The top aren't causing any problems either.
I'm pretty happy the way I was made. ![]() Good luck man, there's nothing to worry about. Those people do that procedure everyday twice or more a day. Nothing to worry about mate. |

The worst part is when u first wake up...u will have a very dry mouth but at the same time...it will be filled with lots of thick spit and kinda think globs of blood. U will be confused when u wake up. expect that. The pain isnt bad. U will probably get vicodin for the pain...if your lucky percs. Tips: these are all rather obvious. No smoking *i was a smoker when i had mine out so this was kinda hard not to do* U will have lots of blood and gauze in your mouth and that is uncomfortable. U will be eating only soup, popsickles, and jello for a few days at least *more like 5 or more*. The good thing is once u get a good flow of opiates in your system u will feel fine. I spent my week just watching movies and enjoying the opiate buzz. Just wrest a lot, dont smoke, and chill. The worst thing that could happen is getting dry sockets....my brother got them. and man did they ever seem like a bitch. Also it does suck changing the gauze. Other than that dont worry to much about it. Its really not that bad best luck bro

The pain is horrible...come on now...they're ripping/chisling/cracking teeth out of your SKULL. It hurts and feels bad for a couple of days, hopefully you'll get some pain meds. I ain't gonna lie or sugarcoat it.
![]() DO NOT SUCK THROUGH A STRAW or anything similar (Google 'dry socket wisdom teeth'). You will get dry sockets and from what I've heard, those are 10x's worse than the teeth pulling...on top of the teeth pulling! After a couple days (or day), it should start to feel better, but it's gradual. Are you having all 4 done at the same time? I hear that's usually the best...getting all done at once. Keep in mind, everyones experience is different...re: pain, etc. It's def. noooo fun. You can do it! People do it allllll the time and everything is fine. ![]() ::happy thoughts for ghm::

After Wisdom Tooth Removal
Clove oil and Rescue remedy, before, during and after. Some homeo remedies.. Arnica montana: This is a useful first-aid remedy for any situation involving bruising and tissue damage. Some dentists recommend that patients take it both before and after stressful dental work, including dental surgery. Arnica may be used as long as soreness lasts, or followed by another remedy aimed at more specific symptoms. Calendula: This remedy can help the body overcome inflammation, infection, and abscess. It can be taken internally in potentized form, or used as an herbal tincture. Applied to injured gums and areas around the teeth, the tincture can help reduce the chance of infection, and help the tissues heal after being cut or bruised. Chamomilla: This remedy is often helpful when a person is hypersensitive to pain and the aftermath of dental work seems intolerable. Chamomilla sometimes works when pain medications have little or no effect, by helping the person’s nerve response become more balanced. Gelsemium: This remedy can help to ease the apprehension and anxiety that often precede a visit to the dentist. The person may tremble and feel weak from dread, develop a headache (in the back of the head and the muscles of the neck), or feel mentally dull and lethargic. Hypericum: This remedy is known for its soothing effect when nerves or nerve-filled body areas are injured. Shooting, jabbing pains are often felt. Hypericum is very useful after oral surgery, especially root canals. Mercurius solubilis: A person with a tendency toward tender, bleeding, swollen gums and teeth that easily loosen and decay may benefit from this remedy. Offensive breath, excessive salivation, and swollen glands are other indications. Symptoms are worse at night, and the person is very sensitive to temperatures, both cold and hot. COLLOIDAL SILVER has also been mentioned..(food for thought) Xanthoxylum alatum (Toothache Tree, Tumburu) is used for pain. And they say "Don't Suck on Anything"!
