Does everyone know you smoke???

And by smoke I mean herb. And by everyone I mean everyone in your life.

Not everyone knows I smoke. I have family and some friends I do not/have not/ will not ever mention smoking around.

I have realized that among my friends, pretty much everyone has people they are hiding their enjoyment of the herb from.

So how honest are you about your smoking? Do you feel like you are sometimes living a double life?

I feel this way sometimes, but honestly I feel it's for the best.

yeah pretty much, all my brothers and my sister know...my nieces and nephews know..my mom and dad know..and of course all my friends know.

In general its not discussed though...My family has always been kewl about it as long as i dont throw it in their face so to speak. If i do it at my home in private...they are kewl with it.

My older brother bought me my last sack of herb about a month ago...he has a buddy who is a big time stoner, grows his own, is active in the scene when it comes to trying to legalize it and yeah he just is rather vocal about it. So every time my bro goes down to visit him he always brings me back a sack which is kewl.

I don't hide it at all, I'm just not very vocal about it. if anybody were to bring it up or ask, I'd tell them straight up. but I don't feel like being judged or hated because of it, so I don't bring it up in front of certain people.

in retrospect, it would be more likely to mistake me for someone who doesn't smoke. I don't have any of the tell tale signs and blah blah blah. I've had friends that were shocked when they saw my bong. its like "no shit?"

because of my profession, I cannot be public about the fact that I smoke, although I'm sure many of my co-workers would not be SHOCKED to learn of the fact.......

my roomates know. and since i have a roomate that sells his friends know.

a few people here and there i have mentioned it to before, but i also respect the herb and the stigma that gets attached with it. im high alot but i always put in clear eyes and cologne wash my hands and just predominently dont put off a stoner vibe. im clean cut and run around 50 miles a week. people know i smoke but many dont, i feel atleast, take me for some pot head hippie burnout.

I'm a professional, so of course I don't discuss it with clients.....nor the fact that I'm gay. EVERYONE in my personal life, family (grandparents didn't know, but they have all passed away), circle of friends etc knows.

Of course, I don't stick marijuana leaf, NORML, or rainbow flags on my windows at the house etc.......ie "advertise" either......I just don't think it's anyone's business, but I'll tell them if they ask..........

I definitely don't give a tinker's damn what anyone thinks about it....never have and never will.........I guess that's one reason I've been self-employed for 30 years...I like doing what I want to do when I want to do it. It's not always possible, but it's darned sure a lot more possible than when working for the mental midgets I see "managing" most businesses.......... .

I had the same thing. It is actually a somewhat empowering feeling, because I've had people start to realize that this crazy "Reefer" could actually be unobtrusively incorporated into someone's lifestyle, perhaps even enhancing it.

All my friends know, if they hang out with me while smoking. My whole family smokes, and they know I do as well. Extended family, not so much.
Usually if I hear people at work/school who I don't know talking about herb, I usually just don't say anything, try to keep a low profile about it.

It would destroy my career if everyone knew I used weed. There is no one outside my inner circle the knows they know I smoke.

But because we all send out these little inadvertent signals, I'm sure there are many people that don't know they know I smoke.
