close enough to being correct i guess, but that test seemed like a lot of bullshit and weird questions to me. Though It's close enough, slight right leaning libertarian sort of thing. Get the government as small as possible, stronger states rights, and stop wasting so much money on supporting assholes who don't deserve it, and a lot of self responsibility.

Though as usual, Rev said it best back there on page 1.

I agree the poll is too restrictive. But perhaps instead of all the possible choices we simple ask, "Is Yahooka left-leaning? Yes/No/i'm gay".

I'd say the majority here runs some type of left to libertarian--but any forum full of stoners will have diverse and often noncoformist thought.

I believe that government is instituted by people to create a general framework in which people can exercise their right to life, liberty and to enjoy the fruits of their labor

I oppose an Income Tax, Support Gun Rights, a metal monetary standard, and a loosely regulated economy (i.e. protections from fraud but not price controls, income caps, etc). I believe most legislation should be left to the States and localities.

I support the Fair Tax, national health insurance, investment in public transport and investment in public education. I oppose war and imperialism.

I don't know what that makes me.

Syndicate anarchism ftw.

But back in the real world perceived polarization of politics sucks.

It sounds like you don't let a political platform or party influence your stance on the issues. I too think we should back our money by a gold standard as it once was. I think that is what you meant by metal monetary standard. Also, public transportation should be FREE. If we encourage more people to use it, then a huge weight off our shoulders in oil dependency. It is already a bitc to ride the bus, so we should invest enough so it is 100% free (bus, lightrail, subway)

Question How about this

I vote for what's logical and intelligent. Call me funny that way. I'd say I'm partial to reasoning. You may as well be a trained monkey if you vote partisan, where is the true personal choice in that?

I came out -3.12 on economic, -2.10 on social.

That puts me a little to the left on both scales, a little more so on economic issues. Pretty much what I expected, I would've self-identified as a moderate Democrat.

And that poll is absolutely horrible, by the way.

a little bit conservative Democrat. Maybe even liberal. But compared to the rest of my city more conservative. Really extreme liberals piss me off.
