Thanks for explaining. Didn't mean to press my values. Maybe you understand where I'm coming from? It kinda rubs me the way it would it someone was like "Man I molested that....." My only class today is canceled. Its finally sunny so I can ride my longboard with brand new bearings. I got a ton of good books from the library yesterday. Looking real good.

i understand your concern, and i believe that words can be powerful and hurtful.

however I am obviously not a rapist nor am i using the word in a malicious way. therefore the word itself shouldnt be labeled inappropriate, it is the intent with which words are used that make them hurtful.

Today kicks ass because I'm starting off this weekend with a walk around the woods today. The snow has pack down enough to get by without shoes, so we are going to see how that goes. It's a glorious sunny day, can't wait.

Tomorrow we are going to see the metropoltian opera ' Maddame butterfly' is playing on the screen downtown, eh, gotta take what you can get this far north

And Sunday we are doing some volunteer work for the symphony orchestra up here, so that we can attend some more events at the cost of my time=their shows. There are some really talented people here for the size of that area and it location. The often get guest members come in to play as well.

Usually a weekend this full isn't my idea of kick ass, but for some reason I'm ready to get out alittle. Dang winter! It's a balmy -5 today, yipee!

Doesn't that piss you off alittle as a consumer of education? You wouldn't be like ' Yes my car broke down again so I guess I get a free day off work. ' You'd miss the days pay and I don't think your boss would give you the day off just because something happened. You are paying that teacher, you are the boss. I can see where you are coming from with the day off, but damn, I'd be having a talking if that person worked for me. You are just paying for something you aren't getting, next class you just rush I'm sure because she has to cover it all before time is up at the end of the year.

i agree sage, but im usually more pissed off by the fact that i drive over to my campus and walk a mile to class only to find an empty room.
this time i checked my email before school and saved myself some trouble.

its a writing class so the teacher is pretty much unneccesary except for giving out grades.
