Rain and warmer here today. Yesterday was snow.

Getting some final cleaning done and that is about it for the week here. Fri,Sat, Sunday on the train, and home. Work Monday in a new season at the tree nursery till December. Then I don't know or won't have to work again till summer. Cheers to that Mikey! I'm trying to make it in to Plan B here, a micro place in town to try their stuff out.

Going back to PG on Sunday though.

I think kitch was just saying I manage to make New England feel warm for him, since I am talking about -Cs and snow already.

I don't think we're too far away from each other though, we just get it a month sooner.

Although -20 is average here by Novermber as a high and -40 or so is our night time temps. I think -35C was out coldest high last year.

Just got some local Smithers's brew. Plan B's McHugh's outmeal stout.

Not my usual choice, but not IPA, plus I got a liter of that at home too. This is a 'sample' I'll get refilled tomorrow

Woo hoo, beer and a movie tonight with the cat Fluffy...who is not so ironically named.

today kicks ass because this fatty's having his birthday dinner, and it's going to be bommmmmb. and his moms and somalian brother from another mother are coming up from London.

making chicken-fried steaks, cauliflower and cheese [like mac & white-cheese but with cauliflower and crushed cornflakes on top.. mmmmm. like one of the best things in life], candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, collards, gravy. and yesterday, my oma showed up with my birthday cake: a two-layer banana-chocoloate chip mound of goodness with chocolate-peanut butter icing. ommmmmm nom nom nom

took shrooms with 4 of my good friends last night. one of the best trips ive had, it felt really good to be among friends. it was a very welcome change from the way ive been doing psychs out at concerts/ raves/ festies.

needless to say im feeling quite peaceful with beautiful afterglow and the weather is helping too

Today I'm thankful for the brand new chrome sink faucet that was installed this morning... I had no idea they were putting in a new one. After the third complaint call of leaking water for four(!!!!!) consecutive months, they showed up to fix it and next thing I see is something taller than this;

from something like this before, but grimy since the 90's and slightly rusted...
