today kicks ass because last night I got a ton of my nutrition work outta the way, including some forreal stress filled online quiz shit. Also because I got to see some top notch family that I haven't seen in two years due to the opposite-coast conundrum. Laughed more than I have in a long time. I got to see a kickass show with my boy, soooo minus my long drives and rain and massive winds, I had some pretty fuckin enjoyable past coupla days

today's high was 0 and it's windy, so I've been taking it easy today and easing into the temps I'll think are warm by the time I see them again.
Hope you are all having happy and safe weekends. Sage

Yesterday my Wife, a friend and I went downtown to decorate some empty store fronts downtown and brighten up the place for the people who live there, unfortunately there are many on the street. They said they were going to bring their sandwich and bottle down here to look at the window we were doing. This to itself was pretty fun and achieving something I said when I moved here. Which was to make PG more beautiful, also an objective of doing landscaping here as well.
The lady running the show asked if I would be Santa next weekend, and I really didn't see why not, other than I am brown haired and 1/3 the size of an average 'santa'. Picts will follow soon I'm sure. The most important part happened afterward though. The people running things told us to take a dozen donuts home as well as the box of coffee from Tim Horton's. I was on that right away. We took them as whisked out the door to the street. And for the next 5-10 mins we stood on the corner pouring coffee with creams and sugars flying, as well as handing out the goodies. When we walked out there wasn't A person out there, and as soon as the first drop of coffee was poured I swear 15 people appeared. We didn't have to turn anyone away as out stuff ran out with out last cup and person. I don't want to mention this as 'go sagetree' I just want to share this because while I feel like a pretty happy guy, there isn't a lot of things that make me giddy with joy and feeling invigorated, and after this I felt really good. We'd taken city money, for the decorating and food, and handed out some 'city money' right to people. I am grateful to have seen so many smiles and have been left with such a happy feeling. After my job is done in December I'm going to go downtown to a local food distro, as they always need help and so do the people on the streets here when it's as cold as it gets here, on top of everything else. Our friend has never been down town here either as it is really rough, so they say, and lots of people stay away. So this was a really huge thing for her first dt experience. And that was just as important as well. As much as people need cared for, people need to give caring as well. Much love SageTree

I've totally kicked the ass of my child psych class. Just amazing. Didn't realize til today how awesome I'm doin. Brought my Nutrition grade wayyyy up. Fuckin...oh man. So great. Signed up for next semester last night. Florida in a month to some famjam. Great concert tonight. Beautiful week lined up weatherwise, which means frisbee blunts and prolly beers in the park. It's just good. It's all so good.
