Totally overrated, totally talented. Just said that a day or so ago on another board.

The fact that they are raping his legacy doesn't help either.

There is no way however you can say this isn't a damn fine song. One of my favorite samples too.

i'm actually with stateofkane, appreciation of music really comes down to the beat. i'll lend an ear to anything from country to black metal, pop rock to prog rock, folk to house, and on and on. where i disagree though is that a beat's merit lies in its predictability. the best word i can use to pin down a good beat or rhythm would be sensational, and that traverses all boundaries imo. in fact i consider sensation to be the thing music's based on.
