There's an idea on Obama's site legalise_the_medicin al_and_recreational_ use_of_marijuanathat says basically legalize marijuana. Good stuff right? I'm reading the comments and they're all supportive up to this one person.

Sorry for the long quotes, I am just picking the highlights from her posts

Into a day-care center or supermarket? Or maybe she'd have gotten the idea that she could fly, and jumped off the roof. Or maybe she'd have thought she was a monkey and tried to swing through the trees at the park? Who knows, she could even have thought she was Hitler. Maybe she'd think she was superman. Wonder Woman. The Una-Bomber. All but the last three I have personally seen in someone under the influence of Marijuana.

Just had to share those beauty rants. Not only is she allergic to weed, she's seen someone under the influence of marijuana who thought she was Hitler. There's a shitload of posts but I don't think I can read any more of them.

He's basically forcing a vote of confidence over whether or not political parties should be funded by the government (or thats my understanding of it, I've never been too political). He's obviously in favour of switching party funding to exclusively private donations, with no help from the government at all. His party (Tories... Conservatives) is largely privately funded... The other major parties in Canada rely on public funding to run campaigns etc.

So you see where the problem lies. Harper is going to send us back into another fucking election and the three biggest (opposition) parties in canada (all with divergent positions on many subjects) are considering forming an alliance.
