i only ride a bike on the road if its a nice straight road, i wouldnt risk using lights or roundabouts on a pedal bike
i think the law about bikes and roads is stupid, a person on a pedal bike is going to do less damage to a pedestrian than a car would to someone on a bike

like a year or so ago i made a habit of flashing a peace sign every time something unexpected happens on the road. i consider it a kind of personal affirmation that it's all good, and morning/evening commutes no longer seem like such a pain.

that was easy. it's a bit harder to carry that mindset with me throughout the day.

Most of the cyclists round here can

1) Start paying road tax, before they decide to cycle two abreast on thin B-roads, which achieves nothing other than endangering them and my paintwork. As much as me and the massive queue of traffic following them would love to trudge along at 17mph for the next 8 miles.

2) Go and fuck themselves.

Although I have the utmost respect for the lesser spotted considerate cyclist.

last night im skateboarding back to my dorm room, im flying down the street and just eat complete shit. so one of the 4 beers in my bag explodes and makes a mess. i come in the building and the RAs obviously know im drunk and feel the need to illegally search me and give me shit, knowing i just fell, most likley because of my bloody hands. FUCK that bullshit. anyway skateboarding rocks.
