i always compared it to Super Bonk.. i love both those games..
kid chameleon is the shit, throwing on all kinds of helmets and getting kewl powers...plus it was long as fuck...my mom bought it for me when i was in grade school and i still remember the day i got it...i think i stoled a 25 cent dinosaur that day as well. I was so evil lol

bonk is kewl too...i have the original as well as air zonk for my wii...very kewl games but i like air zonk the best cause its a strait up old school side scrolling shooter with tons of power ups and weird ass enemies. good stuff yo

that does sound fun, actually. they overcomplicate the shit out of games nowadays.

agreed man. Up until the 32-bit systems hit i would never ever read the instructions.

Almost all the games were so intuitive that it wasnt needed. Now, when i start up my ps3/360 i almost have to have to take a look in the book before playing.

i dunno...games sure have came a long way sense then but for me personally they have lost some of their magic for some reason.

I agree wholeheartedly. I still can't figure out how to turn a 360 without considerable struggle whilst baked.

to me this has a lot to do with their availability, given that we're now adults who have jobs and extra cash. the relative value of your video games when you were a kid vs the value they hold for you now is waaaaaaaaaaay off, at least for me. i would usually get a game for christmas, and then on my birthday i would get 100 dollars instead of having a birthday party and buy a couple games with that. those two events were the lifeblood which got me through the year. now i can buy a game on the way to the grocery store if i want.
