So, I found my old gamecube, and nostalgia hit me like a steamroller. pikmin, smash bros, hell, even paper mario. so I wanted to play my old favorite games, and decided I'd go buy them.
come to find out that no stores sell them anymore. wtf?!
so, other than ebay, do you know of any stores that still sell gamecube games?

i really liked gamecube...animal crossing, metroid, paper mario, mario kart double dash ect..

My local toys r us still sells gamecube games as well as EB and gamestop as somebody else said.

your favourite games were on the gamecube?

i'm not saying it didn't have some great games, like mario 64, the zeldas, perfect dark, excite bike, etc.. but i think the catalogues of games for the dreamcast and snes are far superior.

there are a lot of online stores that specialise in games for older consoles. just google search and you'll find a bunch of options and be able to choose the one that's best for you.

man do i ever agree with slapstick and herbinator....the dreamcast was a great system and even introduced the first Online play for a video game console (chu chu rocket and phantasy star online were both good games) but people dint give it a chance...i dont think sega really gave it much of one either.

It had great graphics *for the time* a decent price point, some really great games and i even liked the lil memory card that u could play games on. I had one of my first acid trips while playing soul calibure for the DC...i unlocked lizard man and my friend and i just flipped out ahahha good times, good times It will probably go down along with the turbo graphics and the atari lynx as the best systems nobody gave a chance.

slapstick i am sure u are aware that there is a animal crossing availabe for the wii that is really kewl as well. Also there is one for the DS that is almost exactly like the gamecube version but has a few extras thrown in just in case i cant find it for the cube.

absolutley. the dreamcast killed it. unfortuanately, the ps2 was released shortly after and killed it even harder.

I found a copy at gamestop, $20, used. thats mighty pricey for a launch title, even for older systems. but, ya gotta do whatcha gotta do.

ahahha fuck i forgot the saturn....that was another system they dint give a chance man. I still have mine, i play guardian heros *fuckin awsome game!!* astal and clockwork knight quite often.

I am gonna throw the 3d0 out there as well as great machine that dint get a chance *although when it first came out it was $700*. I got mine for $400 about a year after. The reason i still think of 3d0 is that just how awesome it was to be playing a 32-bit cd based machine while they were playing SNES and genesis. It had some great games like samuari showdown, the best version of street fighter 2 at the time and slam n jam.

anyway, little known fact (or not, I don't pay attention to these things) is that the sega genesis was originally intended to be an add on, or accessory to the SNES.
