A man was detained by TSA in St. Louis for carrying cash. The man was traveling home following a Campaign For Liberty (Ron Paul) event. I thought the MIAC document was retracted? Apparently these goons didn't get the word.

Doesn't surprise me. Those TSA guys a bunch of knuckleheads who are on some kind of power trip. When I checked my Mosin Nagant rifle going from Florida to MA, they broke my hard case, moved all my ammo around (separate, locked, containers) and even took some of it.

how was that doing their job? if the amount of money isn't over $10,000 they don't have to declare that they have it to customs, nor is it breaking any laws because it was under 10,000.

I do believe the judge said that carrying cash is not on the list of reasons to be suspicious of someone.

There is one voice on that tape, mother fucker doesn't even need to be a crossing guard, if you losing your cool over not getting the answer you want to hear then you don't need to be asking questions.

He's lucky they didn't bring the dogs in and allowed them to sniff the cash because they will alert on it and it will be seized. Kudos to the gent for the recorder. It's a shame that this is the way we have to protect ourselves against those on taxpayer's salary.

It was not under the TSA authority to hold someone merely for cash...unless he was going to bribe the pilot to crash the plane.

He was let go after an FBI plain clothes tells the airport cops (still cops) to back off.

How many people get that kind of courtesy call from the FBI,

How did the FBI know anything about this?

"The Judge" said the tape went on for twenty (20) min before the FBI show up and let him loose.

He was being uncooperative didn't answer any questions and the FBI let him off the hook?

I wish I was so lucky with my many run-ins with the cops.

When will this 20 minute "injustice" toward the rich end?
