quick brownie question

So a few months back i made some brownies with about 4-5g of some really good bud. I baked them and cut the brownies into 16ths and the next day ate one piece and my friend ate one too. In anycase they were strong enough to destroy both of us.

I threw the rest in my freezer and slowly nibbled at a few over the next month or so. Fast forward another month or so, having not had any in this space, i give one each to 2 friends of mine and they felt nothing at all.

A few weeks after that i gave one to another friend, and she told me too, she felt nothing.

I find it hard to believe the THC would disappear in the freezer, any thoughts?
Also, i don't do drugs a whole lot anymore so that's why they sat in my freezer for so long.

i read somewhere that you can freeze bud butter and it'll keep for at least a few months, so I don't think the cold temps would destroy anything. It keeps for a lot longer in the freezer then it would the fridge.
