While I think there is great insight in what your saying, I feel some that some of that is gender roles (as opposed to sex). Rev didn't clarify that it was one over the others, but I think both sexes experience those things. Perhaps the most comfortable role reflects the genders though.

^lol that reminds me of my last christmas. My grandma bought me a book called "comma sutra" and as you could probably guess, it's all about grammar. But when I first opened it up both my sister and I thought it had said kama sutra and we were like uhhh what the fuck.

or maybe she knows that I love language. I typically wouldn't admit this because it's extremely nerdy, but I actually enjoy reading grammar books. And I've spent many hours reading about grammar in our language and others on wikipedia.

Sad thing is though, my grandma isn't very intelligent. She's an incredibly sweet lady and I love her a lot, but her head is really filled with rocks. That side of my family are all rednecks and not educated. My grandma had 10 kids and only 2 of them went to college, my father and my lesbian aunt. So really, no one on that side of my family has any real intelligence, and as I've gotten older I've found it incredibly difficult to relate to them.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that people who don't go to college are unintelligent, just these people.
