earlier today me and a few friends got into it
and i can't help but post the arguement.
we were discussing the best movies of all time, with a few of my friends & myself naming the usual suspects. you know i'm all about fight club, schindlers list, air bud 1-10, goodfellas..just good movies...this is when it get hilarious. my one friend claimed cool runnings is a top 5 movie of all time. yes, the one about the jamacian bobsled team. don't get me wrong, it was a great movie when i was 12, fucking awesome, but i'm 24 now and uhh i can kinda think now. so we all start making fun of him as random fitts of lulz spread throgh the room like the swine flu, and this dude starts explaining why its so good.. some shit about the hierarchy of the jamacian classes or soemthing and how it portrays it good. as as if he knows something about it. just to make it worse he got so offended he started claiming we better leave him alone or he will "start making personal attacks".. 5 minutes later he was calling people punk bitches saying they have no taste in movies and that they are uneducated idiots (he has his GED, but he went to christian school his whole life and makes him think hes smart for some reason) and claiming that his paying roomates can't buy/eat/bring chicken wings ever again because his dog eats them and gets mad sick.. it was at this point i told him how profoundly absurd the whole arguement was, told him god didn't exist, and exited stage right. well i found it funny anyways.

But really... in a discussion like that, nobody can be wrong.

there is no single best movie for all time. for me it changes depending on the mood, and there are at least fifty possibilities for my brain to choose from .

I can watch The Big Lebowski or The Boondock Saints pretty much any time and I'm good.
