Where are the coffee shops in Vancouver, BC?

I'm going to Vancouver for a conference this week! I'll be busy from tues-fri with the show, but on saturday I'll be looking to explore the city!

Anyone ever live here or still live here?

I'm looking for places to go chill out on saturday and enjoy myself! but i know nothing about Vancouver! So any advice on places to see or do would be great...

And if anyone is in the area and wants to meet up you should PM me!!

I agree with everything that slunt said.

It's worth knowing that herb isn't sold at the shop, you have to get your own.

When I was living in Vancouer I spent alot of time hiking in Lynn Canyon on the North Shore using the sea bus. Stanely Park is a place I always kept on volunteering with their ecological society. Steam Works is a place for dank beers. That is beside Waterfront Station on the East side, towards Gas town.

It's really hard not to love that place. If you don't have a car, I would recommend buying an all day pass at 7-11, you'll save alot of money that way. That is if you want to travel very far or get on and off the bus alot.

It's also really easy to walk around no worries. English Bay or Sunset beach is a great place to burn one down and watch the sun go away at around 1030 or so.

I lived there for 2 years and now am up in the central interior of BC. Really different.

There are alot of Yahookans that live in Van. Ziplock is outside of town, 420smokeman, Buds Bunny, and alot more. Just search some BC or VAN threads and it will be obivous.

If you need any help with anything else, just pm me or ask here.

You're going to love it man.

Funny shit.....here is why..

I was just letting dude know that I moved alot of 'lost' posts to the regional forum, so he can search Vancouver BC and get alot of info there.

Now for Van Gardener. When I first moved to Van I met up with this guy. He was pretty nice guy, materialistic, no doubt, but I didn't hold that against him. He just wanted to make alot of money. So I find out that he is doing this MOM thing, and being a US citizen I didn't want any ties to that, so I stopped hanging around with him, and then a few months later, after a hiatus from Yahooka, I come back and he isn't around any more. I just know from the IRC crew that he ripped off a member there hardcore, and that IS f-ed up.

So I don't know man. People in the 'lost' posts, were saying he was still here and posting under another name I couldn't recall.

That is all I know man. Burned a few with him, had a hard time finding a topic of convo, but still got together for a few tokes, Even once at the Amsterdam when Captain Cannabis was intown from Edmonton visiting.
