dude, soft drinks have been around for hundreds of years. coca-cola was invented in 1886. it became popular during prohibition becuase people were substituting their alcohol with soft drinks. thats of course, if they didnt go to speak-easy's to drink bath-tub gin and shit imported illegally north of the border.

Root Beer has no standardized recipie and has been documented back much further...

Soda pop may have gained popularity during prohibition as a legal alternative but was not created during prohibition...

The gist of it was me being a "lazy marijuana user" because I "wasn't calling radio stations requesting legalization" and was "in fact, probably a cop".
