Your in for a great time man. Bonnaroo is a fucking awsome time and don't let people tell you otherwise, haters gotta hate. This will be my 4th year attending, but my first volunteering.
My advice would be to practice setting up your tent and shade tent at home a few times to make sure you can get it up quick and easily. There is a fairly fast dash for space when you first get your car parked. But after that sit in your chair, crack a beer, pack a bowl, find your campsite on the map, and go off exploring everything. Keep in mind that the top half of the camping area (above bushy branch rd.) is where the cops do not partoll so much Other than that I suggest you go down the roads around the #9 balloon in the camping areas. You'll know the row when you see it, it is a grass road just off the paved road. Here is a PDF of the map ALSO check out inforoo.com , it is THE site for any info about bonnaroo, and the people going to it. They have a forum camp in the tent only area, a yearly BBQ at the camp, and info pepole are a lot of fun. I am more involved with infobury.com the Rothbury festival sister site, but will be hooking up with a lot of buries and rooers during the fest. I am Pancake on either of the sites, PM me if you join. Is this your only fest? I've hit Summercamp and Mountain Jam already this year, and am going to roo, Rothbury, All Good, and Gathering of the Vibes. And meet-ups always make em better. This is the first time I've been on yahooks in a bit and it's nice to see a festy thread right off. Fuckin A!

its a pretty small area, fest-wise, it would be cool to get a hooka smoke session going
