have you all heard about this shit? i remember hearing about it in england a few years ago or a year ago , well i recently heard shit about it from some people and didnt believe it. but then the other day my friend got this bag which was rediculous the weed was so fucked up it smelled all chemically and shit and it was these dense dense nuggets - now that wasnt the worst part but when u looked at it it reflected in the light with these very large seeming "cystal like" things- well after doing some research ,looking at it with a 30x mag lense, and rubbing some of the "crystals" between my fingers i became convinced that this was some of the glass ball weed that i read about and heard was in the states now.

my advice to you is BE CAREFUL and look at your weed closely when u buy it, because it looked just like regular weed until he got it home and took a very close look at it and it literally has fuckign glass particles in it-

people are such assholes i cant fucking believe they are doing this shit, but when i read on norml it appeared that this shit is all over the northeast.

so ... have any of u ever gotten shafted with this garbage? my friend is damn glad he only bought a gram.... i read about people buying pounds and only later finding out about it. what a fucking bulshit thing for ass hole people to do.

it's not glass "balls", it's shards of ground up glass which are sprinkled over the weed to give the impression that it's "crystally". this is, of course, extremely bad for your health but from what I've seen looks quite convincing. The UK is fucked either way, between soapbar hash and the glass weed.

the dont look like glass balls they are very tiny and basically look just slightly too big to be crystals.. and when u rub em between your fingers they feel very rough and cant break up bc they are glass. and when u burn up some of the "weed" the little glass shits are left so i dunno what else it could be.

my concern is that i am a very perceptive person and i barely noticed the crap. im sure there are tons of people, most likely younger people who are not even noticing and not knowing weed well enough to tell that its bunk and smoking it and hurting themselves....

I believe that this happens, but I just dont get why people would do this. Unless your on the street and never expect to see the customer again (and need all the 'mad crystals' you can get to hawk the stuff), why would you possibly do this, people would notice and not buy off you again. It just doesnt make sense.

Maybe I'm paranoid but it seems like something the anti-drug people would do, to try and make the stuff seem more dangerous (when really its just because its unregulated that people do such stupid shit).

The little glass pieces get heated up and can burn your throat and lungs.

I saw this last night on an English show (BBC?) titled, "Should I Smoke Pot". An English mom basically goes to Amsterdam and smokes weed/hash for a month to see "what effects" it has on her. I was not impressed as it seemed to focus on mostly the negative aspects including inducing psychosis and paranoia, which most know weed just enhances this chance to people who are already susceptible. Just like alcoholics and any other drug user who has a predisposition, but of course they don't mention this. It kind of reminded me of a 2009 version of refer madness, but much tamer of course but same message overall nevertheless.

Anyway, one of the negative things they mentioned was that people in England were adding glass to make the weed look much more potent which then of course enables them to charge chronic prices while damaging you. Great!

I live in the Northeast (US), and although I can't say for sure I've gotten this bogus weed, I have had people tell me they have gotten weed that was full of crystals, looked killer and they were disappointed. Makes me wonder. I'll certainly be paying more attention.
