Why is it so hard to find people to go to a party?

My boy's holding a party on Grand Island tonight and we're gonna have mad beers and a bonfire and all that good shit.

He's even got two people who are willing to straight up be shuttles all night and get people to their party and then home.

All for free.

And no one's getting at me for full details.

Lame.

stop trying so hard.

just find the blabbermouths/drunks make sure they are coming, word will spread.
in my experience its always easiest and safest to just tell a small amount of people who will come, and it will spread like wildfire to all friends and associates

if you force it, it either gets TOO big, or just too lame

thats just my experience though, so take it with a grain of salt

Turns out there's like 4 other parties going on, 2 are being professionally DJ'd and one has like 10 kegs.

Bad day for a party is all.

We got about 30 people who we know well coming, so that's cool. We prefer the smaller more laid back parties anyway.

And as for the sausage fest it's mostly chicks.

And this thread was more a complaint of people not getting back to me rather than not wanting to come.
But it turns out the mass text I sent never went out. So that was on me. I got about 45 texts back in as many minutes all pretty much saying they're going to one or another of the bigger parties.

Whatevs. More beer for me

I just fucked things up with this girl by saying i liked her on the eve of us all going out to sheffield tomorrow night. She turned me down, which i can live with i guess, but her boyfriend now knows, so tomorrows gonna be awkwarrrrrd.

so i was searching all far and wide to find myself a friend to come out with all of us on monday, so im not having to stand out being all awkward and 'o hai i fancy your g/f'. Took me so friggin long, nobody seems to want to get wasted on a monday, even if drinks are £1 a bottle, in the club, and £1.45 a pint in the Wetherspoons, but luckily, some other girl i fancy is able to came save me from social awkwardness.

what was going to be the shittest night of my life, could turn out brilliantly coz of her, yippee.

although i do have to go visit my ex g/f who has cancer the next day. hungover. proabbly not so fun
