Whey protein helps build muscle mass whilst creatine just helps you retain water in your muscles therefore keeping you from getting muscle cramps while lifting. That equals out to more reps because your muscles aren't cramping up due to water loss.
I took creatine quite a bit while lifting and yes it will make you a hell of a lot bigger and make your muscles *LOOK* bigger, but once you quit taking it all that goes away. I like creatine though for keeping me hydrated. |
