Black Keys and Modest Mouse I'm all for however. I wish someone would explain them sticking Snoop on all these otherwise good bills as of late, is it 1994 again and no one told me?

snoop was the best act there.
he had thousands of people toe up singing gin and juice, it was amazing him and 311 brought the most energy and got the crowd the most pumped

this year was pretty standard traveling jam band/electro stuff. i like something other than that in my fests is all. i listened to jam music for way too long in high school as it is.

naaah
they bring great positive energy but to each his own. ive seen 311 with the roots, with pepper and the wailers, with matisyahu, and with snoop and each time they we deserving of the main act. not to say the opening acts weren't fucking sweet too. |

rothbury on the whole didnt really interest me , anymore that any festival , per se
but the cheese has always been my favorite jam band so i guess just from a knee jerk response I was so happy and psyced and had such an amazing time watching the show live online and from what ive heard from other SCI fans, they agreed with me that it was a truly top notch top 10% of their shows show, - even after 2 years not together they were far and away better muscians that any other band i saw...(didnt see the dead or a hand full of others) |
