MJ Memorial
watching this right now..live, no commercials, from staples center
getting p sad. I turned it late, but have seen Mariah Carrey (sounded p awful), Queen Latifah (read a Maya Angelu mj poem) and Lionel Richie (amazing). Now Barry Gordy is up front (dude that signed the Jackson 5). Oh there's a few highschoolers around here lulz. Im not old or anything, but lotta people dont appreciate the full scope of Michael Jackson, myself included. I just happen to jam a lot of his tunes.
Rev. Al Sharpton just got done with his speech. I hate this dude for the most part. first part of his speech was totally political and as he usually does pulls out the race card then it got better when he was talking about michael. to MJs kids "there wasnt anything strange about your daddy, it was strange what he had to deal with" |

I dont even really mind his music, it's certainly not my cup of tea, but I know good music when I hear it and he has some good tunes.
I just don't see why people are going apeshit, his musical career ended in the eighties.
