just throwing this out there, but what if, while you were blacked out on the pavement, a hobo came and stole your herb and thus you are worrying about nothing?

I'm guessing you will get a bill for the ambulance, but I find it hard to believe that the cops would take your weed and bring your moped home, but not charge you on the spot if they were going to do so.

My advice in this hypothetical scenario would be don't sweat it since what's done is done. If you get in shit, deal with it when it comes up. If not you're in the clear and you didn't stress yourself out about it. Although that wouldn't be very exciting to read

About 15 years ago when I was living in Boston and after doing an overnight, I thought I saw a wallet in the road in the AM while looking for a parking spot close to my apartment. I backed up, and being exhausted, side swiped a car. The whole side of the car was wrecked, mostly from my trucks bumper. I left a note on drivers seat (the window had smashed) with all my info. After not being contacted after a few days I called the PD and asked if an accident had been reported and they said no. Nothing ever happened, which is very weird. Maybe the note somehow got lost or somehow blew out of the car?

when i woke up i had a bandaid on my left index finger even though i wasn't bleeding from it, could this indicate that a blood sample was taken?

Seriously, the cops really do have better things to do then play with your mind for days only to bust you at a later date. They have a quota to reach. If he really was a dick cop, you would have woken up in a jail cell, not a hospital. Or perhaps a hospital with a cop waiting outside your door. You got lucky.
