What do you do with a yard full of
Junk Trucks and Parts Tractors? ( We have plenty)

ANSWER:....

You build a Modified Pulling Tractor!

Engine Specifications!

Block:...350 chevy V-8 bored .030 over
Crankshaft:...Cast crank from 400 Chevy,
Main bearings turned to std for 350 block, Rods .010 undersize.
Rod Length:...5.7 inch from 350 Chevy
Pistons:...TRW Flat top for 383 conversion
Timing Chain:...Double Roller Type
Cam:...Wolverine Hydrolic Cam (Custom Ground)
Intake Manifold:...Weiand X-CELerator single plane alumiumn high rise
Heads:...Stock Cast Iron 1.94/1.50 valves, 76 cc combustion chambers
and 170 cc intake runners
Valve Train:...Stock GM valve train and valve covers
Water Pump:...Stock GM cast iron, modified for more flow and pressure
Carburetor:...Holley 600 w/vac secondaries
Transmission:...GM Turbo Hydro-Matic 350 (TH350) with a shift kit installed
Torque Converter:...B&M Hole Shot 2400

i get to drive a tractor almost everyday at the farm I work at.
it's like a nice brand new new holland tractor too.

i loove tractors.
its been a dream to ride one all my life, and now i get to use it everyday it's great i love my job.
today i backed up with a trailer for the first time ever, man that shit's all backwards and fishtailing and stuff but i got er' done!!!

After seeing some of the pics posted, I feel real spoiled, the folks who own the farm I work at have a real nice tractor that I get to use.

After looking at all these pics I feel like I don't deserve to drive it, I should start off with an old rusty beast, they look like more fun anyway.

^You'll realize sooner or later that the old rusty ones are much much more brilliant than that toy you work with.
My dad has 3 big wheel horses that he's driven hours to go acquire. Didn't work when he got them. Now they do. The pride and genius it takes to take a piece of unworkable machinery and fix it, to rebuild or modify like Pharmgirl was talking about...that's the fun. He loves his old rusty tractors more than he could ever love a new freshly painted one, and I've learned to love them too. They are amazing things. Tractor with a fuckin car engine in it? Sure. Let's go.
He had those things in pieces on the ground, realized he couldn't get a part he needed....what did he do? Went and got a mill to machine his own parts.
Like you said you'll have much more fun with an old beast
