pikes peak hill climb 09
went to the historic race up the mountain last weekend and brought along my cameras. still in the process of making the videos, here are the first two and some pictures.
be sure to watch the videos in hd for optimal viewage the first racer i saw, waiting in line for the mountain road to open at about 3:30am. it just so happened to be a mustang  i tried getting a few other pictures after that, but due to the darkness most turned out pretty crappy so we skip ahead to sunrise:  after that we had some hours to spare so we took a hike up towards the top o the mountain. didnt make it to the top, but got fairly close.              the summit of pikes peak  on the way back from our little hike i got some pictures of the track as we walked from the bottomless pit back to devils playground          the race is about to start   and a few pics of the cars.        some rainclouds that just missed us.

Yea man that is pretty sick. I was there last year for it.... just happened to be there for work.
Pikes Peak is amazing. I have some pics I'll upload too.
