Don't get me wrong, i completely believe and understand what your saying, but isn't it frightening that they are a corporation at all? just because they are structured in a not profit manner doesn't mean they can act out of self interest. And as flappy's list shows, the people who interests the fed serves probably don't give a shit about the American public. I also find it mildly hilarious that both Andrew Jackson and "Federal Reserve Note" appear on the $20 bill. (for those non-versed in american history, andrew jackson main contribution, and arguably why hes on currency, was fighting a central bank tooth and nail)
