Caught
So I'm outside on my balcony smoking, and a car comes into the parking lot and as he is passing by flipping me off. I get up and hear a female driver's voice saying, "we're not stupid".
This was last Friday night. I just smoked again in my apartment for the first time not on the balcony. I don't know what to think or do. Stop smoking here and go to my parents' house (they are out of town), but when they come back there will be nowhere for me to go. Last edited by stateofkane; 08-02-2009 at 01:28 PM. |

were you doing anything beside smoking? and what were you smoking out of?
seems odd that somone would feel the need to bug you when you're on your own balcony

if it was a landlord, you would already know. if it was someone associated with police, you would already know. Just take precautions every time you smoke now for about a month, and when nothing happens, you are good.
maybe go find a park or something where you can walk around with not a lot of people around. roll up a blunt, or if you are extra paranoid you can empty a cig and fill it with weed and walk around with it.

I didn't mean to put you on the spot, Turmaline.
I was smoking a j(3rd floor balcony), but have smoked outside on my balcony many times, so maybe they already were putting up with 2nd hand smoke and expected to see me. I don't make noise, hardly ever have people over and I'm just sitting there minding my own business. Waving to let me know is one thing, but to flick someone off is totally out of line. He was holding his finger up for a while, wasn't sure it was directed at me until I heard the driver talk I hope he does it to the wrong person someday.
