if you decide to watch it, it's probably best to start from season 1 episode 1. season two is weaker than one, but as of the last episode I'm really digging it again.

I'm like 4 episodes behind... I just want to know where the plot with the vibrating voodoo chick with the nice rack is going. Cause that was starting to feel pretty stagnant.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

I mean...if it's not the jews, or the freemasons, or the illuminati, or the church....then it's GOT TO BE FUCKIN VAMPIRES!!!

there is such a thing as objectivity, not that it is always perfect.

an inflated ego and a word-drunk mind unawares of it own smallness and limitations thinks everything is subjective, or when one's mind changes that somehow changes everything.

the multiplicity of small egos and limited, conditioned perspectives gives way to a presence of all-pervading oneness through which clarity, reality, and objective truth ca be perceived.

if you're not jvb you do a damn good impersonation

and i would say an inflated ego assumes that the truth he perceives is the only truth. . . congrats on exemplifying this immaculately

Verk...you have no idea. You'd be stunned that in some bookstores they have a "paranormal romance" section...there are actually hundreds.

the majority of the people that read the books and watched the series say that (for once) the series is way better than the books.

burn away the fog of fear
that brings your eyes forever near
looky looky looky here
burn away the fog of fear

days and days on end
ain't the wind on fire
don't it call to you
restless restless friend
ain't you higher than you ever been?

ya theres more behind all the legends and the goth/vamp subculture than fantasy tho. the stories about the aristocrats, greedy, and attached to their worldly empires... it points to the true practice of the dark arts in these circles. in fact, its been going on since very ancient times i northern europe, before vikings took over the rest of europe and beyond.

thus, these practices have had a big effect on how our societies and world have been shaped. its a gateway of real evil.

whether there is or is not objectivity is irrelevant to this discussion. What IS relevant is your unfortunate belief that your SUBJECTIVE interpretation of selected facts and myths showcases The Objective Truth.

There is no ego involved in my statements, as I am proclaiming "not knowing." Could there be vampires? sure. Could the moon actually be made of cheese? sure.

But my subjective interpretation of the facts present make me believe that no, there are no secret covens of vampires running the universe, and no, the moon is not made of cheese.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say you are completely ass backward in your analysis...

an inflated ego and a word-drunk mind unawares of it own smallness and limitations thinks everything is OBJECTIVE, or when one's mind changes that somehow changes everything.

the multiplicity of small egos and limited, conditioned perspectives gives way to a presence of all-pervading oneness through which clarity, reality, and acceptance of "non knowing" can replace the illusion of objective understanding from within a set system.

It must be nice to be completely sure about something like this...as it dispenses with the need for any further thinking what so ever. Funadamental thought is so ugly to me, in any form.
