IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE CHRIST our GRAND ILLUSION

first off

let me apologize for the all caps. the older folk and the news tell me it means i'm yelling. i'm not yelling.

but i am mad.

about what?

today my beef is with the renaissance. yes that highly praised period in human history ... innovation ... art ... and glass ceilings.

you see ... the reason i'm sitting here right now in my office is a result of those bastards. the reason i'm typing on this forum is a result of the dark ages.

don't get me wrong ... i love technology. we're not happy anymore though. the shiny red button can only distract this monkey for so long, and after that i'll hit the vines again, swing swing swing.

we think we're happy ... but we're not. i think that i'm happy, but i know i'm not ... and goddam if the rest of humanity says that's okay.

it happens

shit happens

happens to everyone

no, no it really doesn't. it doesn't just happen. something caused it to happen, and that something is probably something that someone else created somewhere that is powerful enough to influence the way you walk through a grocery store.

remember the dark ages?

me neither

i heard about it though. something somewhere informed me about it. i dunno if it really happened, and i'm not really concerned. the stories behind it are powerful though, or at least i think they are.

ya you're pissed, we're all pissed. luckily we're medicated enough to thrive in such an environment. who the hell gave other people the power to decide what we do with our short time on earth ... go to a mirror, you're lookin right at em. we let this happen.

wants and needs ya'all

geddy lee makes me feel weird. it's like ... ehhh ummm.

his voice makes me want to ride a unicorn through hell.

i'm waiting on pages upon pages of excel files that will take me days to sift through. from that data i will make sense of your shopping habits. i'm going to break all of you down into numbers and graphs.

how does that make you feel?

i know

i'm a traitor

couple months down the road i may be the reason you bought something that you really never needed.

weird isn't it.

just think of all that work that went into that bowl of cereal you're eating, and you can still buy it for about 4 bux.

formulas
ingredients sourcing
production
packaging
graphic design
sales
marketing
distribution

4 bux doesn't sound so bad now does it

i was really thinking about this one saturday morning. i was still drunk from the night before, and i had smoked a ton. i then wanted some mcdonalds breakfast ... sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit.

the cow, born, bred, sent to the slaughterhouse, packed with preservatives and spices that are sourced from all over the globe. the cheese, from the cow (or so we've been told), more preservatives, methods to making yellow cheese, packaging, commodities. biscuit, butter, a ton of those sourced ingredients. each one of those took a company of many people years to develop and master.

and guess what

they didn't know i was coming. they may have fit me into some forecast but they weren't sure.

they gave me this nasty breakfast ... all for around 2 dollars.

fuck magicians man ... fuck em.

Dark Ages were legit, Islamists held it down the whole time.

the higher you are up in the company, the less work you do = the more you get paid. yet the worker bee making all the money has to go on strike and beg the employer for health assistance. the bee gets health complications from busting his ass for the company too,

and people say 'well the rich guy earned it, he deserves to chill on a $500 cigar'. fuck that man, if you got all these people workin for you, makin all your money, give some of that back to the bee. i know he doesnt have to and thats socialism but fuck man, free market capitalism needs to be more regulated

It's all just a big fucking scam. You know how I know? Because beer is ALWAYS going on sale at CVS. Every time you think, "Maybe I'll skip the beer and save some money" they knock the price down some more. Today, I got a 18-pack for $8.99. The Man wants our senses dulled, taking the easy way to escape the angst his money plantation fuels in every man with an instinct to breath free.
