Man, I sure do miss Tom. I loved his libertarian talk show on KFIAM in the 90's, and was very into his shit on FreeFm...Even though he's a rat bastard for single handedly killing Free Fm (see Frank Kramer calls out Leykis), and even though there is much debate over his opinions, I respect anyone who uses logic over emotion in arguments. Any fans? ....Or any haters? hahaha...(I'm sure there will be a few of the latter).

And Tom Leykis is libertarian, not liberal or conservative. But he's definetly on the liberal end of libertarian. Even if you're offended by his chauvanist shit, check out his old shit from KFI...His voice sounded so funny back then, it's before he had acid reflux. Hahaha...

And yeah Tom Leykis lives in the Hollywood hills and was primarily broadcasted by 97.1 Free Fm in L.A. Frank Kramer from Frosty Heidi and Frank (another one of my favorite shows) summed up what happened the best. The radio station suddenly decided to switch formats because of money reasons. I guess everyone was willing to take a paycut but fucking Leykis wouldn't, so they had to switch formats...now it's all shitty rap and dance music.
The thing is I'm sure Tom was about ready to retire anyways, cause he's pretty old (no Don Imus...but) and he's rich, and I think he just decided it wasn't worth it anymore. I don't agree with what he did, nor do I agree with the shit he used to give Brian Whitman (from Conway and Whitman). But I still laugh my ass off listening to his show. And as much as people are offended by him he was usually right.

Speaking of Tim Conway, Conway and Stickler are going to be on KFI Am now which is fucking awesome.
