Stop marijuana, burn California.

California wildfire blamed on drug operation - CNN.com

so, these 84,000 acres burned by wildfire are being blamed on "mexican cartels" and their marijuana crop. hmmmm, funny how they blame it on a "cooking" fire, when more than likely it was federal agents burning the field.

Um, where did I say or suggest that? They have burns out there often I'm sure, more than likely only when it's safe. AND, I have seen them chop and yes, haul them away by chopper to a safer area to burn.

Like I mentioned earlier...not everything is a conspiracy

you've seen them invade a marijuana field, chop the plants, and haul them away?

hmmmm...

and if the feds did do this, you think they're gonna come right out and say so? nope, they are going to go with something benign like "cooking fire", and throw "mexican cartel" in the headlines for shock and scare.

im not going to argue about this. you can draw your own conclusions or go with the bs story they say happened, but i just saw this on the news and thought it redic.

semantics. you've never seen a real burn in the middle of a forest either now have you? you have no idea how they're run, if the plants are moved etc. really? no shit tv isn't a sub for real life, i never said it was, and you very well know wtf i meant, you're pulling at strings. yes, i did "see" that. did i witness it first hand? no. did i say i did? no.

and i don't have an "assumption" on your "opinion". you want to change words around and play that game? my opinion on your opinion is that it's a bit redic.

and round and round we go

I don't see why a fire would happen from growing weed... maybe making a lot of meth or something involving flamable solvents...

Isn't it just as likely that a wild-fire happened(like they've been happening) and just so happened to burn down some weed plants some mexicans were growing in the 84,000 acres?

This is just another reason why they should legalize.

Also they don't burn down weed fields they cut them down, and airlift them out then they put run them to evidence or to big barrels designed to destroy evidence. I've seen a video of it.

they usually dont burn trash in california because of the pollution, but i know the fire deptartments do controlled burns to try and create fire breaks. burning weed crops, im not so sure. people seem so deathly afraid of it, i doubt that theyd want to risk people getting high.

it was likely that the fire was set unintentionally. californias ecosystem is meant to burn every few years to make room for new growth, and during the summer everything is so dry it doesnt take much to spark a big fire.

It was a campfire that started it, in a camp where the cartels were camping near their grow sites. Not something actually relating to the grow of it.

yeah, i agree with you that it couldve been a natural wildfire. i also agree that they could airlift plants out, and ive seen programs on this aswell, but ive also seen more videos of big giant piles of marijuana plants being burned. the whole point of my thoughts on this story is that it's pure crap, not how these plants were destroyed, but the way it was reported to make it seem like it's the growers fault, just another notch on the dangerous plant spin.

also, this whole "mexican cartel" thing is widely disproportionate to the truth.

Thats right, they pile these feral plots of ditchweed that may have been cultivated fields at one time in these giant mesh nets and hang them directly under the massive prop wash of the helicopter and fly them across more land, spreading seeds fucking everywhere thus replanting next years 'find' and saying to the man "See, we're doing a great job of finding these dastardly marihuana fields so we need more funding to keep locating and destroying (and ultimately replanting) these crops!"

The DEA and their ilk are some of the biggest hemp cultivators in the world...
