amphetamines?

I find that they take the fun out of everything recreational, although very efficient shit. Yet many people I know pop them for just that--recreation.
I'm prescribed them for AD/HD but can't truly enjoy myself doing anything but classwork, busywork and smoking cigarettes while under the influence of the meds (Adderall in my case). I don't fuck with meth, but I've heard it's pretty closely related.
Oh and not to mention, it takes you 5 times as much bud to get yourself high, and at least that much more alcohol to get you drunk if you have also taken these types of uppers that day.

I had a friend get super skinny off adderall. we were the same way, I was on ritilan and neither of us could eat unless we smoked. it was fucking terrible.

i got off my meds way before he got of his adderall though. he's doing much better now.

Have a friend who is prescribed allsorts of amphetamines for AD/HD, have popped Ritalin in parties before now... though they where enjoyable in a party atmosphere just for the energy boost and chattiness, its not something I would want to do often... mainly cos stimulants aint my thing unless I'm going to a club or party... plus theres usually better stuff about than prescription speed!

Have got a sheet of Equasym XL in my little drugs collection as that is what she is prescribed now (and refuses to take!), not for anything other than long days that require a little more than a red bull to keep me awake!

I had a friend who took aderal. He gave me two for the ride to the beach, which was driving through the nite, to get there. I did GREAT staying awake, but my jaw was in agony from clenching. It was worse than cocaine for the jaw movements.

As is said 'cocaine is a hell of a drug' though And I partied alot more because of it I feel. I'm usually pretty subdued and laying back. This had me out dancing with everyone all nite long. I also coincidentally lost 15lbs during the 4 months I had a pretty much free supply from a girl I was romping in the sheets with. So my memories of it are almost all good, except for the few years of sinus probs, which went away over time.

Adderall and ritalin we used to do in highschool before we could get any other drugs...We also did Corricidin (spelling?) which was dxm/dextromethorphan (i.e. robotussin) and psuedophredrin (the precursor to meth).
I always thought they were fun when I was like...14...But the last few times I tried them they just made me aggitated.
Meth can be fun, but it also wrecks me for a few days after because when I do it/did it I would tend to smoke it for 2-3 days straight.

I'm only 23, but I feel myself saying more and more that "I'm getting too old for this shit". All hard drugs affect my body and mind a lot now. I don't recover like I did as a teenager.

Mdma is the only amphetamine I ever do any more, and even that's only on occasion.

As a final note: Tweekers suck.

I take adderall usually, after neuropsych. testing determined I have ADD/ADHD... after all these years wondering what the hell.
Smoking weed on it used to be awesome, but now it practically cancels out my meds when I smoke any amount at all :/

a couple friends and i got hit with a day of in-school suspension, and the morning before it started we got together a smoked a shitload of weed. on the way to school one of em offered me an adderall, which i promptly took. i never did it before and i've never done it since but i read 3 damn books that day and enjoyed every minute

werd, i had a period in highschool when i took alot of adderal and Ritalin because it was cheap and available. at first it gives you alot of energy and made me talkative and alert, but after a couple weeks of using progressively higher doses i got too tweaked out one day and never touched the stuff again.

Energy/Focus has never been a problem, if i need a boost i drink a caffeinated beverage(coke) and deal with it.....
