Follow me on my way to recovering my gambling losses

So last night I did something stupid. No, I didn't fuck that girl with all the cold sores but I did get drunk and play $600 buy in no limiit omaha hi/lo. And yes, i was drinking. The guy who took it all gave me 20 bucks back since I promised to return and I'm going to have to use that to get back in business. So this thread is going to track my progress in doing that. In two weeks I will have it back to above 1800, but basicly all work an no play.

this reminds me of the time I started with $100, went to $37 in about 20 minutes and then got it all back to $180 within 4 rounds. Everyone at the table was shitting themselves including me. I haven't played since.

It was a 3/6 cash game and I could have stopped at 600 but I did it three times in rapid succession.

lol fuck gambling.. i remember when i was like 16 working at a grocery store we would be throwing dice in the back and once payday came, i would lose my entire paycheck doing that bs.

luck has a lot to do with it, which is why you cant measure poker success on a short term basis. to be successful you have to be able to put yourself in situations with positive expected value.

orangepeel is a very profitable player and will bounce back if he doesnt get piss drunk and play too high limits again.
