Who cares about their personal shit. These guys were real politicians who were brilliant and did their jobs for the love of their country not a paycheck (they refused to be compensated and thought of public service as a duty not a job). Now a days these scam artists pass legislation strictly under the guise that they will get a guaranteed payday from the company's they passed laws favorable to once they leave office. Notice the huge money for speaking engagements ex-presidents and even congressmen get. Or the cushy jobs and who they get them from.
