How do I roll a joint backwards to minimise the amount of paper?
Machiismo's Guide to Backwards Doobage

Ok this is a guide to rolling a backwards doobie (with a filter) so that you can use the minimum amount of paper - so you taste the freshness of da herb.
This is like more of an 'elite' way to rolling a joint but is nice for Europeans and Americans alike. Anyway this is a short pictoral guide to it if you wanna learn.
Firstly you need a nice mix - your broken up herb with or without tobacco depending on your preference.
Then you need to make a filter. This is the easiest part of the rolling and can be done in many different ways so I dont need to go into much description.
Then you need to get your paper or rip. For backwards rolling you need to make sure the sticky piece of the pape is on the outside. Using my pic as reference, the sticky part is on the side which the mix is not touching. And its also on the lower side of the pape - more towards the bottom of the picture.
Then comes the rolling. When rolling I always find it best to already shape the weed before you even roll. By rotating the sides of the pape up and down I turn the mix inside the pape which makes it doob shaped already. In a similar way a rolling machine would. This makes it easier for rolling. Do this with your thumb and index fingers.
Once it has a good shape slowly slide the sticky part (which should be facing you) down until its almost in line with the filter. Then start to fold the back part of the pape over the sticky part with your index finger - keep rolling round so that you get a doob shape.
Imagine the doobie as a rolled up piece of paper, if you rotate certain sides you can tighten the joint - use this to make the doob thinner and therefore tighter.
Rotate the doobie around until you have a tight shape, you should be able to see where the two papes overlap. This is important (I guess you need moderatly thin papes). The place that you see overlapping should be the sticky paper underneith. So you lick over the piece of paper on top (which shouldnt be the sticky piece) - the moisture should seep through the pape and join the sticky part of the paper to the non-sticky part.
Once this is done the paper should be stuck together with the paper overlapping it - creating a doobie with the perfect amount of pape around it with only a small bit of overlapping where it sticks. The rest of the pape should flap off. This extra bit of paper should then be ripped off...best way is to lick the seem where the sticky and non sticky bit join and then tear down it for a straight easily tearable line.
