Was at the Cultiva on the weekend and we looked around and talked to many people on what was on offer in regards to Vaps.

Well, well well.

All good till now.
It is different buzz than the flash, bang of smoking a pipe.
It has a taste which is good but not rough on the throat.
The stone is very much in the head and not so much in the body.
( but that could also have something to do with my homegrown.)

Most of my friends who have tried it are very impressed and a couple will be adding it to their xmas stockings.

My wife already uses it exclusively.
Over time i can also see it becoming my smoking tool of choice.

If you have the spare cash i can fully recommend the iolite.

( As i have been writing this my stone seems to have deepened...)

Yea, I started using a vaporizer about 2 years ago. It's a lot easier on my lungs and definitely respiratorily easier on us older folks. Plus, I'm dying from Hep C so the less insult I can inflict on my somewhat frail constitution, the better. I smoke nothing but kind bud for all the obvious reasons: it gets me higher and provides far more medicinal benefit like appetite - I've gone from 240 lbs 2 years ago to the hefty 140 lbs I am now. If it weren't for bud, I'd probably die from malnutrition, but I'm also diabetic so I have to eat. If I don't vaporize, I use a bubbler which is a bit better than pipes or papers. I still cough to the point of pain, but it's better than nothing. I live at a very high altitude (over 10000 ft) so oxygen is at a premium. Another good reason to vaporize.
Anyway, I just want to wish all of you very happy holidays, full of joy and life. Please, enjoy your families and friends as much as you can, while you can. Be kind to everyone, and especially, be kind to animals. They love us unconditionally so they deserve the same in return.

I just got a Magic-Flight Box. I haven't smoked in years and am having trouble finding anything that WORKS. I can smoke and not get very ripped, so I don't know if it's the weed or the vap. I think I'm not smart enough to know how to suck on this sucker! They say to pretend as you are trying to suck a bubble off a spoon.

This MF Box requires only 2 batteries and comes with recharger. No lighter needed. Stealth is smooth and super cool ... people say they can use them in theaters, etc... and not be noticed.

It's a very nice product. Maybe soon I'll get to try something really spiffy in the 'bowl'.

OH, the only downside is that you have to really, really, really grind up the weed. I'm using a coffee grinder, my hands aren't strong enough to grind manually.

I also tried a Ubie and REALLY have trouble with that one. Never could get it to work.

Ya'll keep hanging. I do so enjoy all of your posts and knowing that there are so many happy tokers out there in tokeland.

I have a Vapir One handheld vape. It goes for close to $200 brand new. For some reason, I have never had a satisfactory high off of a vape. Maybe its because I have a high tolerance, but the weed I smoke is High quality, the vape is in working order, I'm not using it wrong, and I have no idea why vapes dont get me high. I get slight headies, and it goes away rather quickly. If I take the same amount of weed, put it in my bubbler, and burn it, I get very high. I dont understand, I thought vapes gave a very potent high, but not for me?

The last line is primo word. It was via vaporizer that I got stoned the first time, and I was so high, it was if I was in outer space.

i have just started vapping and i dig it so far. right now all i have is a pretty ghetto piece of equipment. (the afore mentioned solderieng iron/jar combo), but it works pretty well when you are patient. Though i do look forward to getting a better one soon.

I don't vape but I'm doing research into which vaporizers are good and which ones aren't. I'd also want one that's portable and that you can put a whip onto. The magic flight box type looks cool and it's not as expensive as this other brand of portable vaporizer (not the ubie or vapor genie) that's $200 and you have to heat up the heating element with a torch lighter.

The Volcano is the one that people always mention but it's very expensive at $539 for just a heating element and a bag, and I've been told that other less expensive vapes do the same thing as it.

I recently got a Magic Flight Launch box vape and is it's small (seriously it's smaller than my cellphone), discrete, highly effective, very well made but did not leave me broke like the Volcano would, and it's very easy to use. Magic-Flight I didn't pay full price for it and it does run on rechargeable batteries but I have yet to recharge just one and they do last a very long time.

I researched vapes on fuckcombustion.com as they are not all the same, before I found one that was right for me. I also found that some vape sites will give you a discount if you can find the right codes for it.

I use a lot less herb than I do with smoking and I get a more psychedelic high that's sort of like eating it since it lasts a very long time but it's more cerebral and you do not have as much couchlock even if you do smoke a pure Indica. I would also have times when I'm high from vaping where I thought I was sober or becoming sober but then I discovered that I was still very high.

I only vaped a few small crumbs of bud and a small layer of powdered herb on the bottom of the tiny trench of the vape and I was high for 6-7 hours.

I did not cough at all or feel burning smoke in my throat or lungs which is why I got a vaporizer to avoid the hot smoke and tar. You can even hook up vaporizers to a bong with tubing or a mouthpiece which I'm eventually going to try. The vape I have came with a mouthpiece but you do not have to use that at all.

I do not vape daily as I was not even always that into daily smoking and that is what works best for me. I know people who do vape daily and use their vape about 1-2X a day once in the morning and once in the afternoon or evening.

I've heard you can take the duff or vaped herb and save it and put it into brownies or cookies and still get high from it since there's CBD and CBN left in it.
