i think you should go down f rthe thuggish behaviour you displayed..if i were that poor guy you both fucked up, just beacse i was a bit beligerant and drunk (sounds as if everyone ws!) I'd be going hard at ya and then clain victims compensation as well and grindyour finanial ability into the ground for 3 months while you pay the state what they gave me

Okay, I've discussed this with my friend and we decided that maybe I can argue that the reason I kicked the guy in the balls was because he was about to get up and hurt my friend and I had to stop him.

Kinda like in that movie 'Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story' where Bruce Lee defeats that guy with the long hair and then the guy gets up and fly-kicks him in the spine while his back is turned. Bruce Lee ended up paralyzed in a wheelchair because of this and so could my friend have, had I not intervened.

I'll be seeing my lawyer tomorrow, so I'll be sure to consult with him as to whether or not that would hold up as a viable defense in court. If not, I'm thinking as a last resort that I could simply argue that I was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the incident (even though I wasn't), and therefore I wasn't really responsible for my actions...since I was intoxicated/on drugs and didn't know what I was doing. Two dudes I went to high school with actually got off on a reduced sentence after robbing a 7-eleven because they claimed to have been smoking marijuana at the time; so it does work.

The only only other real option I have is to have my friend pay the other two witnesses a visit and "convince" them to forget they saw anything. The only problem is we don't know their names or where they live.

Anyway, that's the latest update. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it. Otherwise, just wish me luck or keep me in your prayers. I'm not really sorry for what I did but I'm willing to seem sorry if it's the only thing that will save me from jail.

first of all, i'll reiterate: you're asking a predominantly male-based forum if you fought dirty by kicking a dude in the nuts?? even if you were a 5-year-old girl we'd consider it dirty.

1.it wasn't ur fight
2.he was already beat the fuck up

if you were losing the fight i say kick the shit outta him but it was't even ur fight i would of told my friend to man-up and finish his shit that he started. the only reason u should help a friend in a fight is if he is getting jumped or ur doing the jumping but u weren't doing either of those
