the prison system in the united states is completely fucked. if you do not agree you are an idiot and should do some research.
Maybe just empty the non-violent offenders? the victim-less crimes? the drug addicts? the mentally disturbed?

the hundreds of thousands of people that were thrown in jail cuz they got caught with a few grams of weed?

the numbers get even more ridiculous when you take into account there is a huge prison economy that has grown in order to house, feed, etc all the prisoners. and whos paying for it? you and i.

Each inmate costs US taxpayers more than $22,000 a year.

It costs more than i make in a year to house a dude who is living in a cement cell.

America really does have a lot of prisoners but I wouldn't want to be on the other end of that list either. Iceland ok, Afghanistan not so much.

afghanistan government cant even enforce its own laws otherwise alot more people would be in jail there
