If you're coming to California, first make a decision on where you wanna go....Northern Northern California (Sacramento/Humboldt), Northern California (frisco, santa cruz), Mid California (bakersfield, fresno), southern california (Los Angeles, orange county), or southern southern california (san diego, baja).
I would advise staying away from the San Diego area and the sacramento area. Either go to LA or Frisco and humboldt.
I would advise if you go to the frisco area to spend your time in Berkeley and Oakland (weed is decriminalized and sold in stores in oakland).

If you come to southern california (the LA/OC area) stop by and see Hollywood. It's not somewhere most people want to stay for long, but it's fun for a night or two. Definetely check out Venice beach etc.

If you want some specific places to hang out or busk let me know. You can always hit me up when youre out here and I can try to find a place for you to crash for a couple nights etc. Or we can just blaze a few.

Good luck. I'm gonna go be a gypsy for a few months next year when my buddies from canada come down with their camper...Maybe we'll cross paths somewhere in the U.S.

Srsly. Like, the only places more boring than Sacramento are Fresno and Bako (and Madeira, of course).

If in SoCal, the IE (inland Empire) isn't really worth seeing, unless you like post-apocalyptic visions of the future. Lotta drugs/users tho. And so close (mileage-wise, anyway) to the L.A. Basin!

Hollywood is pretty crazy. Santa Monica and Wilshire, the Getty, etc. West L.A. is nice.

im in gras valley california right now, been camping for the last 3 weeks in the sierras// havdnt taaken a shower or had a place to stay yet... firs time in front of a computer in a month. i miss society lifestyle but a lot of random people have been generous. im rtying right now to find couch surfer or whatever online somewhere. I dunno when ill be able to look at this thread again but im taking down numbers to call... ill pm some of you too.


ive done all kinds of stuff so far, i stayed a week in seattle, went down thru portland to a palce called willimina, played some music at a open mic bar and then went to pacific city and camped in a state park for a few days... went down the coast and camped in vancouver, then contrinued all the way thru california in parks and now recene;y quite awhile in the sierras. it was damn cold tho the other day, like 35 and cold
