My GREIVES dream! (weakness ensues)
I haven't been around yahooka for the last few months and this place had all but vanished from my dreams. Then, last night, as I have so many nights before, I fell asleep reading yahooka posts (with my laptop in bed).
Lo and behold! Who walks right in my dreams that very night? Grieves of course! The details are ever fleeting but I'm sure it went something like this: -Grives and me in random bathroom sitting indian style in front of a bathtub. -Grieves appearance is nondescript, just a regular guy in a dark shirt and jeans. He never even addresses himself, I just somehow KNOW that this is grieves. -In the bathtub we are buidling and discussing what looks like a model loading dock that is also somehow a map of a city. -In the middle of this model shipping dock/city map are big letters that spell PORTLAND. Like the city from my home state, Portland, Oregon, I assume. -Grieves admits he adores Portland and stares at the bathtub lovingly (I can dream, can't I?) -Then we turn around and all of a sudden we're not in a bathroom anymore, we're sitting at a bar. -Grieves is louder and more beligerant now and he is kind of giving me a bad feeling. There is still a bathtub in the bar and I get the feeling he has nefarious plans for me and that bathtub. -Dream gets hazy for a moment -Two girls join me and grieves at the bar. Both are very tall, like 6'6", very thin and blonde. Probably abstracts of my love for Paris Hilton. -We've stayed very late now, I actually checked a dream clock and it was 3:36 if I remember and I'm very worried because that is far too late to be out at a bar. Grieves, however, is unsympathetic to my anxiety about the time and insists we stay at the bar with the girls and play games. -The bar then turns into my kitchen/living room and I decide to spend the rest of my (or perhaps more importantly their) energy. So I suggest my and grieves do airplanes with the girls. They love the idea. -However, I had the ecstasy style airplanes in mind, where you hold a persons legs and swing them around. The girls and grieves, however, started spining around with their arms out and calling it an airplane. "Whatever", I thought, and joined in. -The dream ends with these airplanes getting wildly out of control and turning into a sort of moshpit of punching where grieves purposely blindsides me with blunt force, knocking me into blackness. Then I wake up. |

i had a dream a couple nights ago after waking up a little early and going back to sleep. i was getting ready to play a virtual video game as i often do in dreams, and i think i may have been about to go lucid but something was holding me back because some nefarious person took control of the game and set up a series of challenges that i'd have to perform. it was like a trap, and i wasn't the only one caught in it. before i had to go along with it i was following someone else around like you do waiting to spawn in any fps game, and i just knew it was waves. woke up soon after

I am glad you shared Merc. It takes guts to bear your heart and soul around here some times. I for one am glad you are back. Your threads are off colour sometimes and naive, imo, about others. But who hasn't been there in life, or had the balls to admit it.
You have also created some really good threads and offered thoughtful responses, in many other forums besides FFA. No mater what you get alot of replies and keep the shit stirred for better and worse. Thanks for visiting with us again. Sage

I think the entire dream was just a metephore for contracting aids. The hazy part though... I think that's where other friends joined for a moment. Usually I don't remember my dreams so well, so I just had to share. In the beginning grieves really was very nice, we were having intelligent conversation. But then, as in real life, he quickly turns against me with vicious fervor.

I go to school with a couple kids that look just like TK. I think of him every time I see either of them and think how cool it would be to meet him.
