Ok, so I have come to consult FFA once more, in what I should do right now.

I have been off work for a few days now with mild bronchitis, or what I thought was mild bronchitis until I woke up today, extremely light headed, and puked up blood.

I don't mean I puked up some slightly pink bile, we're talking deep rose read blood, and lots of it.

So, should I go to the hospital or should I do nothing?

Yeah I figured I should probably go to the doctor, but at the same time, I am feeling much better (4 or 5 hours after blast off)

I mean I have an inherent desire to not have things like this checked out. It's scary, I really dislike hospitals and I would rather not wait 6 hours just to be told that I had a nosebleed while I was sleeping, hence, blood in my stomach/esophagus. I usually wait for things to go from bad to worse before I go get serious medical attention.

Well at the very least I have scheduled a follow-up tommorow with my doc.

FML.

The most upsetting thing is that I (clearly) have had alot of experience with respiratory infections in the last year, and I've never heard of people vomiting blood, I mean it just doesn't seem to be connected in any way to my lungs. Thus I must conclude that either a.) it's an anomaly or b.) i'm ill with more than just bronchitis.

Throwing up blood can still be because of deep infection. (Think about it. When you hack up snot, you could very easily swallow it, demonstrating that lungmatter can end up in yo tummy) Or could just be something silly like a fucked up vessel that will fix itself. I know a guy I don't wanna call him my buddy cuz he's nasty. But he coughs up and pukes out blood pretty regularly. He's been shot in the chest and stabbed in the shoulder/back. Don't be like that guy, go to the doctor especially if it's free.
