Do you play chess?

I've often found that the ability to play a game of chess comes with the ability to engage in a good conversation. Wine makes a nice addition, as does a fine cheese and most certainly a joint. Not bongs for this one, i have to stress; a shared joint. not stingy, and not mixed with tobacco (I hate that shit).

so the question is.
do you, play chess?

but also, what is your take on the ritual of a smoke and a game of chess to invigorate the cometition between friends, as well as the discussion of the smoke?

yeah man chess is one of my all-time favorites. it's been way too long since i played a game, like 2 years at least. but that was online, it's been so long since i've actually sat down to a game with a friend that i didn't even smoke at the time

I suck at chess when playing stoned.

Stoned I can't think worth a damn in regard to the type of thinking required for chess. I get too focused on small sections and tactics and forget about the big picture and strategy.

Being stoned leads me towards creative thinking rather than chess type thinking.

My dad made a real nice mirrored chess board back in the day which is still around, and he knows how but I haven't a clue. Have a couple buddies that know but I never learned. Tis a shame because I've always wanted to.

Hype checkers isn't more fun and you know it. I do miss checkers too though.
