The Rev is getting a divorce and man that really tugs at my heart strings. I know forever is a long time but I always believe that we can make it if we only give it our all. And I know that's not easy. I've not had a great many relationship but when I'm in them I love with fever that burns day and night. Eventually what seems to happen is I lose sight of love for some strange reason. It's like I forget that I was so lucky to have "her". Then when things fall to pieces I stand there alone wondering how it went wrong.

I know how it goes wrong, I forget how to love a woman.

-Tell her you love her in as many was as possible.
-Give her all of your body and embrace all of hers until she is satisfied.
-Never stop giving. Give her all you possibly can and promise her that you wont stop until the rest comes.
-Let her world be yours. Everything she thinks and does is all that ever matters to you. Support it until your dying end.
-Show her that you are the man her children need in their life. Show them.
-Hold her until all of hear fears melt.

No I don't think I do. I've had a few close friends and relatives over the years tell me that they think I am incapable of true love.

I have since learned to internalize most of my feelings and emotions, in an attempt to function properly in society. Have to be careful what you tell people

Look you can love a woman without being her bitch, like you just described. There's a lot of reciprocation that would have to happen for any of those cliche romantic things to happen and be real. And I mean that in the best, and worst way you can think of.

Love is way too situational and relative to the couple involve to simply write an instruction book for. What love is for one person, can be something else entirely for someone else. Hell, do you even think the love a man has for a woman is the same thing a woman has for a man? People are just too different and unique to always have exactly the same values.

meh love imo is either sexual attraction or fondness for those who share similar genetic material

however, the love one feels for a pet or dog for example i can not explain. that is true love, never ending unconditional companionship ftw.
