I'm often overly critical of people I see everyday, and the stupid shit they do. I figure maybe the things I do seem as weird to him, as he does to me. Most of the time I just don't care though.

the glass isnt half full OR half empty. YOURE AT SUBWAY! the glass is fucking re fillable. stop ya semantics!
hehe I voted that its a curse. I have been told I'm blessed with a better than average IQ and inteligence (doesn't help me spell sadly). But here's the thing. In every day experiences its great. Im the smartest person around me, and that gives me a 'foresight' advantage. but as soon as people figure out youre smarter two things happen. first, insecure stupid people decide they don't like you cause to know more than them is to be a smart arse...even if all youre trying to do is talk about something interesting (yes i hear that one) and secondly, the people who are comfortable with hanging with people of varying talents, expect that you will take full advantage f your gifts. to NOT be smart all the time is now the sin. So when lifes normal things happen to you, youre expected to be a ble to handle everything ABNORMALLy well.. cause youre smart.. is this making sense.. maybe im displaying the deep seated grudge i have as a result of never being good enough. smart people will have seenthis one a lot, id imagine. you get 80% for soem stupid thing at school and the comment says. "well done, but there's always room for improvement." or "although getting exelent grades, your name here could apply him/her self to tasks to garner a better result"

I'm with Lloydy. My brain's activity has been the source of much of the pain, anger, hate and solitude I've suffered in my life. But it's a choice. Shit happens. You choose how it affects you.
I've spent a lot of resources trying to kill my mind. But it's my fault I choose the easy way out on how to deal with it most of the time. I still consider it the most valuable asset I have. And it's tough to imagine how difficult life might be if that damn mass of fatty electrical tissue didn't function at the level it does.

Now movies are subjective, but when someone tries to tell me Scary Movie 2 was a good movie, I know something just ain't right. Is it appropriate to judge someone's intelligence by the movies they find to be good? I don't think it's good to make hasty generalizations, but I think it can show a lot about a person. It's actually kind of strange watching movies, I though were really cool when I was young, now. Watching them now just reveals how poor the storyline is, non developed characters, cheesy action shots, etc. I figure that some people have simply not progressed to a point where they realize these type of things.
