We've been through this before. EVERYBODY cries for Tim McGraw's Don't Take the Girl.

tis a sad song Merc.

I really love my wife and this song Johnny sings after his own wife's death always brings me to some serious tears, knowing the refuge she helped him find in his life.

I get really chocked on a few songs of Red Headed Stranger, by Willie Nelson.

There is alot of passion in these songs.

And these, clique perhaps, but it really sounds like he sold that shit.

I never considered myself the Kurt fan club president. But here is a man who seems like he had alot of pain and did alot of drugs to cover it up. He had money and things that the world may say should have made him happy. But it doesn't seem that it helped him through or out of depression. He could have left music I suppose, But to me it's really sad when he sings All Apologies.

Bah a few more Willie's since I got youtube up:
The Story of the Album is about a Preacher who comes home finds his wife gone and the discovers her cheating...country enough eh? The he kills her and the man! Feels bad enough it seems. Kills a lady who tries to touch his wife's horse. Obviously in pain. There is a lot of reminiscing and by the end I can't tell if he really finds happiness, or kills himself and has visions of a time when he was madly in love with his wife...It ends on a pretty up note I feel, not to make a music pun.

These songs dont make me cry by default but given the proper circumstances they can pretty much destroy me, basically they evoke strong emotional response.

great dylan song, but has always had a much more profound effect on me the way the dead played it...I have a killer recording of this track from 69 but I can't find anything comparable online so this will have to do....

'Wharf Rat' is another Dead song where you can really sense the despair and anger.

'Two Souls in Communion' makes me sad for Pig Pen, dying so young and all.

'Harvest Moon' brings good tears to my eyes, when I'm dancing under a full moon with my Wife.

Polaris' "Hey Sandy" because it was the intro of Pete and Pete

i actually loved that song and show growing up. I have the polaris album that they used in the series heavily and its quite good. nothing earth shattering but if u liked the show u will prob love it cause they used a ton of their songs in it.

Not all lyrics rhyme shaggy.

Anyway that song is hilarious. From a good album too. You guys are missing a ton of real good shit by them though, understandable though because that's a prolific dude.

That wasn't the question though mang......

In defense of my answer, I just think knowing his history it is sad.

It's not the greatest song, but it is surely a sad one.

Strong words from a 'don't take the girl' nomination

Don't shoot the dog either.....Timmy's got some cliche country there fo sho as well.
